Children’s Ministry

When it comes to the fertile soil of the soul, it doesn’t get much better than the heart of a child. That’s why we emphasize the importance of ministering to children and nurturing their spiritual growth along the way.

Sunday morning provides the foundation for our Preschool and Children’s Ministry as we seek to share God’s love and to help bring children to a point in their lives where they will choose to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. The Bible is used as the textbook along with age/grade appropriate Biblical truths and learning activities, crafts, and games that enable good Biblical foundations to be introduced and built upon.
Nursery is provided for babies through 2 years old.
We offer lessons for ages 3-5 that are planned using Biblically sound curriculum and are reinforced with play, music and craft activities.
Extended nursery and preschool are available during the worship hour. The children will stay in their rooms during this service.
What to bring:

Note: All personal items should be labeled with your child’s name. This will help us keep track of your child’s belongings.
For babies through 2 year-olds: a pacifier, special blanket or other item your child finds soothing,
Disposable diapers or pull-ups,
Complete change of clothing, and
A bottle or sippy cup containing what you would like your baby/toddler to drink.
PLEASE provide of list of your child’s known allergans if applicable.

We have Sunday School for elementary age children, offering engaging age-appropriate lessons that are reinforced with craft activities.

At 11:00, elementary age students may attend Children’s Church or attend service with their parents. Children’s Church incorporates many of the same elements of the regular worship service but is geared to their level of learning. The children sing, listen to an interactive lesson, and follow-up with a craft that reinforces what they’ve just learned.

Bible study for children is provided on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm during church-wide discipleship series.
